I'm assuming you missed the first minute of the 2nd half, when Almunia did a..... Almunia

He was in no mans land, and if you think that was faultless, well....

GREAT GREAT first half, but cost us a goal as per usual.... where's the consistency? you can't rely on a guy who is that unreliable. Shame because I really like the bloke and was delighted for him at half time... oh, well - shame it couldn't last

I think you have to give nothing but credit for his first half performance.... but he's cost us 2 vital goals in 4 days, which is a shamewlchuccc wrote:I have already appreciated what he did in the first half...but when you re-watch the highlight, basically he was lucky rather he was a great goelie!!

This is the problem with Al he isnt consistant enough to be a top class keeper, blinding one minute a liability the nextg88ner wrote:I think you have to give nothing but credit for his first half performance.... but he's cost us 2 vital goals in 4 days, which is a shamewlchuccc wrote:I have already appreciated what he did in the first half...but when you re-watch the highlight, basically he was lucky rather he was a great goelie!!
Well the first goal was vital. His school-boy mistake is still totally unacceptable for the first goal!!! I am happy with 2-2 after following the whole game. But who knows it won't be 0-0 if it's not AL againg88ner wrote:I think you have to give nothing but credit for his first half performance.... but he's cost us 2 vital goals in 4 days, which is a shamewlchuccc wrote:I have already appreciated what he did in the first half...but when you re-watch the highlight, basically he was lucky rather he was a great goelie!!

Amazing first half!! And I don't really wanna or need to say what happened in the 2nd half, but agree with most of you he's still not good enough to be in a team competing for numerous trophies!!
Oh how I wish we had a world class keeper but props to Manuel for saving us from major embarasment!! After all that's happened this season, it's more of a relief to have him back and makes me appreciate him more knowing there's Fabianksi though!!
I know I'd rather have manuel rather than flappy.
