games against Newcastle

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

games against Newcastle

Post by thatgooner »

Iv just noticed that by the end of this season we will have played newcastle 3 times (one in the carling cup)
And all 3 games, against the team furthest away from us, will have been played Mid-week.
Is it just me or is this just complete stupidity!?
And it annoys me, that SKY & Setanta come before the fans.
...
Just needed to get that off my chest...

spot on, they take the piss out of all of us but its up to the FA and ppl who make big decisions to not be pimped by the TV companies for money and put the supporter first, but with the England fiasco I cant see that happening any time soon..

By the way top marks to all the gooners getting up to Middlesboro and Newcastle in December, we've sold out both.

I echo Edge - great effort for these games.

Just a request - could you sing up a bit? And if we score, maybe look as those you're pleased as I'm getting fed up seeing some fans politely clap. :)
