The Betting Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

If Rooney not playing then your yoyo goes on the 4-0 correct score?

Correct. Got back €17. Not quite €426 but it covers those bets above and the next two Saturdays too. Result. 8)

Barcelona -3.5 - Madrid - The quarter final of the Euroleage (basketball)

I know. It's basketball, but it's one of the best bets of the week.

Barcelona is the best team in Europe (yes, in that sport too), by far. Madrid won one game at Barca, but it was a fluke, and Barca played one of their worst games of the season that day.

There is clear daylight between these two sides, and Barcelona can end the tie today (best of five, 2-1 to Barca currently). I think they will demolish Madrid, but I don't want to take a risk, so the -3.5 is a brilliant bet that provides great value.

Barcelona -3.5 on 2.1 (11/10).
