R.I.PA CAMERAMAN has died after a fall at Arsenal's Champions League thriller against Barcelona.
The 45-year-old, filming for ITV, hit his head while packing away just minutes after the quarter-final at the Emirates Stadium.
A post mortem has been carried out, but last night the cause of death was still unclear.
The Health and Safety Executive and the Met Police are investigating, but a Scotland Yard source said there were no suspicious circumstances. The man's name has not been released.
Club bosses are sending commiserations to his family and will print a tribute in tomorrow's matchday programme.
Police and ambulance crews were alerted to the tragedy at around 10pm on Wednesday night. The cameraman was rushed to hospital but pronounced dead.
A London Ambulance spokeswoman confirmed: "We were called to reports of a cardiac arrest. Extensive efforts were made to resuscitate the patient."

Jeez, 45, that is awful.
May well have been a basal skull fracture if he fell and hit his head. I had an awful day a couple of months back, one of our guys didn't turn up for work - he was 51......he was Mr Reliable, never let us down. I had just got home from work when my mate who was on nights called me to say he hadn't turned up. I knew it must be something bad. I also knew he lived alone, about 30 mins from me so I found his address and went round. Got in through the back door and found him at the bottom of the stairs, will spare all the gory details but basically he'd smashed his head on the bannister at the bottom of the stairs, probably after falling from the top and suffered a basal skull fracture. Died in hospital 2 days later.
