We're going through. In '89 I lived in the US and it was long before internet and "soccer" being shown on TV so never saw that game live. Tonight I am going to be on a plane to Denver (going skiing) so will miss the game again. Me in the US, 2 goals needed. It's fate!

Yeah I am clutching at straws!!

Come on Arsenal and let me get a positive text the second that plane lands! :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

Going to be tough, come on you rip roarin reds!
On the contrary, it is Marquez that is the weak link and the Barca fans know it to. He has gone down hill over the last 2 years mainly because of injuries.
Both Milito and Marquez dont have to full composure on the ball like Pique and Puyol and they will have a problem with Bendtner's height not to mention Theo's pace.
Barça's vulnerability is heightened by the presence of Márquez. The Mexican is slow and has started just five league games. His appearance as a substitute was followed almost immediately by goals against Atlético Madrid and Zaragoza, both on the break. Even without a slower centre-back, that is Barça's Achilles' heel.
thats from sid lowe in his coloumn

This is going to be a massive, massive challenge. It reminds me of the solider in the holy grail continuing to fight without any limbs!!

The way i see it, we have no pressure, we are expected to go out, I more or less expect us to go out - BUT one thing Arsenal have been famous for is getting a result when nobody expects it.......

A Massive Task - but lets give it a right go lads :barscarf:

Nasri 16-1 first goalscorer at PP...too big, im having some of that!

This tie should already be beyond us, Barca should have scored 3 or 4 at the Grove, our injury list is longer than ever, we will be playing in front of 80'000+ Spaniards expecting a landslide victory.............Yet for some odd reason I feel mildly confident about tonight 8)

Do what I did last time I was airbound while Arsenal were playing. Put your phone on about an hour before you land (it doesn't interfere with the navigation systems, that's bollocks, just make sure you leave it on silent ;)). You get a faint signal the lower you get... means not worrying about the score for so long :D

Barcelona name 19 man-squad; Iniesta good to go

Valdés, Pinto, Alves, Márquez, Milito, Fontàs, Abidal, Maxwell, Touré, Busquets, Xavi, Iniesta, Jonathan, Keita, Jeffren, Bojan, Pedro, Henry and Messi.

Andrés Iniesta has received medical clearance and will be among the 19 players in the Barça squad for the game with Arsenal. He was able to train normally at the Camp Nou today.

Hope some of you here are making it to the match tonight, if so hope it goes well before and after.

Personally I'm not a bit nervous, rather excited, perhaps the excitement is overshadowing the nerves within. Anyway I'm confident of an upset.

Been said everywhere, the pressure lies wholely with the home side and I hope we can exploit that and with every finger crossed, can we please get in their faces in the opening 10 minutes!!!

Quite disappointing that Song misses out. How will Sol react I think tonight is too much for him. Time will tell, perhaps his experience and passion will shine through again.

Prediction? 3-3

Come on the Arsenal :barscarf:
