Wenger should've bought in the summer, we've scraped by the skin of our teeth up to now, when we've played the likes of Man U, Chelsea and now Barca our short-comings have been massively exposed
Spot on.

tbh the result is meaningless...we were never going to win it, we all know we're not good enough at the highest level (ie the latter stages oof the cl and against chelski/united) to compete with these teams.

nothing changes with this result. to really dine at the top table we need 3 key players and a couple of backups, as we all know, in addition to the return of our injured players. a gk, cb, dm and striker 3 of which must come into the 1st team and a couple of others to deepen the squad.

it wont happen, at least not for 2-3 years, so we have to accept the level slightly below the uniteds and barcas till we start spending money/sort our finances/get amanger who will spend and not waste money on wages on bumper new deals for undeserving ppl like dudu, vela, etc.

we are flat track bullys, the greame hicks of english football. we all knew that and that we are lacking against the top teams,so dont get concerned at this result.

lets just make sure we beat the y*ds next week or at least dont lose.

Fucking embarrassment.

So much for our bowtifool futbawl, we were shown up by these lot today. They showed what bowtifool (winning) futbawl really looks like!

And need I say more about our defending? It really is a shambles back there and there is only one man to blame - dickhead Wenger.

No chance... :banghead:

I'm very disapponted. I don't think any player should be scoring a first half hattrick and four against the likes of us no matter how good he is. Again we lost our defensive discipline ala the Man Utd and Chelsea games. We ar not learing from mistakes. It's criiminal that another ball over the top leads to a goal against us.

I dont absolve Vermaelen from any blame here eirther. Did he play like a 10m pound defender?

Victor Valdes, Puyol, Messi, Pique (bought back from Man U), Busquets, Xavi, Iniesta, Rodriguez, Bojan all brought through Barca youth set up

In the first leg they battered us

In the second leg they didnt but in many ways it was worse.. You got the feeling they could score again WHENEVER they wanted to
