Players after the game last night
Was anyone else that had made the trip last night slightly miffed that not one player crossed the hlafway line to come and applaud us fans. We spent a lot of money to support them and nothing.

Yes I thought that was poor - you can normally rely on Clichy, Eboue or Walcott. But i think the result and the fact that the fans were so high up would have been reasons why they didn't. I just dont think they have a concept of the effort and money involved and if they don't feel like celebrating, they don't make any effort. Contrast to Roma last year.
Times have changed though - picked up a copy of El Mundo yesterday and there was Craig Eastmond arriving in Barcelona with a massive Louis Vuitton handbag looking like a twat

Who was he sitting with?Eboue-Why? wrote:How about players during the game? Can somebody please tell me exactly where Cesc was sitting and who was he cosying up to? What happened to sitting on the bench like he did on Saturday. Very worrying if you ask me (unless I've put 2 and 2 together and got 765)

Whoever it was he was having a nice laugh with him at half time with us 3-1 down. Makes you realize that players will never have the same feelings about Arsenal as us fansBT wrote:Who was he sitting with?Eboue-Why? wrote:How about players during the game? I saw that too - you would have thought he might have thought before the coin toss what his options were.Rob wrote:SCREAM AIM FIRE wrote:talking of almunias great leadership...anyone see his face when he won the coin flip last night? he looked lost as if he didn't know what to do
