For once, I agree with Old Rednose, Bolton and especially Kevin Davies deserve to be brought into line. I don't blame clubs like Bolton for doing what they do, it's up to referees to understand what the likes of Davies (or Robbie Savage) are up to - they'll push things as far as they can go before they get a yellow card, and then they'll step back and leave it to some other thug to take over. Too often, referees just don't understand the game, leaving the likes of Kevin Davies laughing at them.
But I also have to laugh at Fergie (any opportunity). If you remember the way Man U approached the game at OT where our unbeaten run was ended, with Reyes and others getting the shit kicked out of them, I'm sure you'll agree this is a case of pots, kettles and black: "You can expect a team in Bolton's position to play that way. You expect a team near the bottom to battle, scrap and fight. Obviously they do not have the quality of opponents like ourselves. That is why they we are in different positions in the league. But the key thing is how the referee controls it. He is the arbiter in terms of the application of the rules of football. That is where we feel a bit aggrieved."
Two-faced twat.

Ferguson keeps these things going to deflect from defeats or mistakes. He's been up to this sort of thing for a long time - and is probably not much different from other top coaches. Actually, the only difference is that purple-nose doesn't get the criticism that AW receives for pretty much saying similar things.
Bolton are thugs against manu, play the same way against us - and we are too soft! It depends from which way one wants to look at things.

That's true - Ferguson is allowed to make these comments without recourse and leave them as the last word in public. The man can't even bring himself to speak to the BBC. These other broadcasters are so reliant on manu for copy that they dare not challenge sir purple-face or he will pull the plug.TheOne2Smooth wrote:I agree on both accounts 26may89 absoloutly true, just one thing maybe someone will tell me when will Fergie be charge for them Howard Webb comments?

It really is hard the have any sympathy for them. I'll never forget the day we lost the unbeaten run at the theatre of bollocks. Their only tactic from start to finish was to kick us to fuck knowing that they'd get away with it at ot and the press would be on their side too. How convenient that the pizza throwing story happened to deflect attention away from what they actually did that day. It's hardly ever got a mention in the manure fawning media from that day to this.

What Fergie gets away with is ridiculous. I'm glad the FA has found he balls to deal with him on the Bolton game (ironically when he actually has a point), but the routine acceptance of his hystrionics on the touchline and the rest of his bullshit over the last 22 years is a crock of shit.TheOne2Smooth wrote:I agree on both accounts 26may89 absoloutly true, just one thing maybe someone will tell me when will Fergie be charge for them Howard Webb comments?
On a similar note, I noticed another Chelsea swarming of the referee incident, when Essien got his red card, with Terry screaming at the ref. How about some action against them? No, thought not, that would take some guts.

its no different to Moyes - he has been charged for his comments after the Liverpool game and i thinks its fair to say he had a point. The fa is an arse.
