Arsenal will look to sign a new number 1 goalkeeper before the start of the World Cup in order to avoid inflated prices for World Cup performances. The main target is Hugo Lloris of Lyon; Â£10 million would be the maximum price Arsenal would be willing to pay; a surprise part exchange including Eduardo could also be on the cards. Other targets include Neuer and Joe Hart of Man City (Arsenal and Man City have built up a good boardroom level relationship after the activity between the clubs last summer and City would consider selling to the Gunners). Manuel Almunia appears to be on his way to Spain for no more than Â£2 million.

I do hope this is true, my groin is grumbling with the Lloris/Neuer and Hart news....
