end of the road??

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

end of the road??

Post by tomkingsbury »

For big phil??
I've spent many conversations backing up old swiss cygan, especially considering the initial ipromise he had shown at the club looking relatively comfortable and good in our defence. I rememebr AW singin his praises when he signed him sayin he has great potential but in all honesty we're yet to see this potential. If anything, phil should have gone out on loan and djourou should have stayed.
So is it time to say goodbye to phil, whom seems ever increasingly nearer in ability to Ben Haim, Duberry, Bramble etc. who have become a laughing stock to many away fan. I bet teams look forward to having an easy game when phil is playing. I'd never boo or get on his back at a game, but i think maybe we need to consider selling him. After tonights performance, id have preferred to have had song at centre back.
Thoughts please!

Don't get over-excited, him and Gallas will be our centre-back partnership during Toure's absence  I used to like him, remember him before we moved out of Highbury? He was good, maybe he misses Highbury too much. I propose we sent him back there as a builder :)

Is he really that bad?
Every time ive seen him he's done his job, nothing special, any mistakes he makes he is always the first straight back in there trying to win it back etc.

Didn't see the game tonight, (Ill probably get full text report from Dicko soon) but Eboue also seems to be getting some flack!

Where do I start, let me try and I am sure others will chip in

Threesome with the Minogues
House in Sandbanks
Aston DB9
River of beer at the end of my garden
10 tonnes of non habit forming cocaine
Senderos's head on a stick
Health
Happiness
Double Tesco clubcard points
Double Sainsbury Nectar points
Bollocks, okay bigger bollocks and make the above 2 requests triple
A six pack, fuck it make it a keg
A very long shopping list and a personal shopper

I could and I will go on, but not first without giving others the oppotunity to contriibute 8)

I want all of the above plus,

A camcorder (for use during threesome with the Minogues)
A back, sack and crack wax (I would donate this to Rednose)
Bi-sexual female neighbours
Electrodes attached to my bosses testicles
and Never need to shave again gel

I know that the result was a bitter pill to swallow with the rested players but a sense of perspective maybe in order. Seville are a good side no doubt but this will keep our lads feet firmly on the ground with a slap like this. To hunt out players as we are is just unacceptable, don't you think that Senderos doesn't know he has dropped a bollock?
When a run or an odd bad result comes along is when the true test arrives, and for me this is it. The players will need everyone letting them know that "OUR" support is unwavering.
Please I urge all of the gooner family to hang tight, don't panic and lets back Sir Arsene's progress with this team.....

I didn't realise I was supposed to provide a full text report Sorry my N95 battery failed before I'd even met up with Jesper but we had pre-arranged a spot anyhow.
