WIGAN AWAY

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

4 Points from our remaining games is all we will get. So I don't think we will get second, and may well lose 3rd to citeh unless we can do better than I predict, a draw against citeh woyld just about do it.
Wigan - draw
Citeh - lose
Blackburn - lose
Fulham - win

The pressure's off so I expect them to put in a good show and win by at least 3 goals.

Should play Mannone in goal. Couldn't do worse than the Spanish waiter.

I'm still feeling too sick and disappointed to even think about the Wigan match.

Another season that promised so much and fell apart for the same reasons as usual.

1) Injuries
2) Lightweight squad with too many fringe players.
3) Failure to make significant signings - goalkeeper, centre-half, defensive midfielder and striker (when RvP was out).

At this rate, I think I'm owed a win. Hoping we can get it, and think we will. Gotta keep Hugo Rod quiet though.

Please just stop going   You started well, but you're costing us points now
I will be tempted if we lose tomorrow. Although Blackburn could be a turning point for me...

At first you read that and think "Bollocks"

but when you think, Rodellaga has a 4th choice striker (behind VP, Bendtner, Chamakh) doesnt appear too unrealistic if Eduardo and/or Vela leave.

Wenger has gone on record as an admirer of Nzobia before im sure, again it would suprise me to see him with us - not sure if i rate him or not tho to be honest.

Stranger things have happenned.

For the love of god.....just when you thin it cant get much worse  :banghead:

For what it is worth I would agree with BDB's team except for the merida scenario where I would play vela - it's high time to give him playing time to see if he is up to the required level and if he isnt, even though I still think that he is, then sell him in the summer 8)

Vela is another Reyes. He cant cut it in English its too tough for him.Only does it against poor teams in the CC.Spain beckons

Also would start Manonne for the last 4 games. What is the point in playing Average AL :barscarf:
