BG, do you actually like any player who doesn't happen to play for Arsenal F.C?

Who do you think our new CB should be then?

Most people seem to agree that the Chelsea and ManYoo teams this season are a fair bit weaker than previously. Yet ManYoo have won the Carling cup and Chelsea look very much like doing the double. That tells you a hell of a lot about the quality of their opposition. Arsenal have done pretty well against the 'lesser' teams on the whole but have been found wanting against all the 'bigger' teams. We know that Chelsea and Man Yoo will strengthen, so unless we do the same we will start next season with little chance of winning a major trophy, especially because Wenger is not concerned with realistically trying to win a domestic trophy.
I am absolutely flabberghasted by the guys on here who are happy for us to soldier on with the same under achieving players year after year. I can only assume you don't work at all, in business, you cannot survive by failing or by being average, you have to have a certain amount of success. It's just not happening with this squad and the huge question is, after 5 years of very little action, does anyone truly think Wenger will let 3 or 4 players go and bring in 3 or 4? Is he truly likely to just bring in 3 or 4? God I hope so, but what on earth would make anyone believe he will do that finally?

Personally, if England don't win the World Cup (which we WILL!!!) then I hope Argentina or Spain do.

one of the reasons for me liking the english culture is the common hatred of argentinians

Don't like them one bit, their one of the last teams i wanna see win it, right down there with Germany.
