agree with most of this, but aa23 pratically fired us to cl football by himself last season i would give him another year

there are players that need to go before him: eddie, denilson, diaby, tweety, almunia, flappy etc

After this capitulation will Wenger ever have the audacity to insult our intelligence again by talking about the characteristics of this bunch of players, belief, spirit, determination, ability, Fabianski will be a great keeper the bullshit goes on and on.
I didn't see any of those traits today, just a shower of over hyped players led by a manager who is out of touch with reality, and should be relieved of his duties at the end of the season.

I think its time for a major clearout. let either Usmanov or the Yank buy the club, get rid of the usual suspects Diaby silvestre Denilson Almunia flapianski and bring on at least 6 new faces. give Wenger 1 Year he wins smth he stays he doesnt then its time to replace him.

I agree with everything being said but we were saying exactly the same 12 months ago and we will be saying exactly the same in 12 months time because no-one at the club has the bollox to make hard decisions and Wenger is on a personal crusade with OUR club which will ultimately end in failure!!!!!! fuckin load of shite!!!!

That's realistic talk isn't it? How would this conversation go?

PHW: "Arsene, next season you're gonna win something or you're out of here".

AW : "OK, you can fuck off".

I'm fuming about the lack of respect this man is getting.. :banghead:

2-0 and in control of the match.

What sort of impact did Wenger expect Fran Merida to have? Why change a team that are in relative control of the match. The only decision that could have been made was to bring on one or two more defensive-minded players (that we didn't have at our disposal and prob don't have at the club) Wenger done the opposite? (Eboue's far from defensive considering his main thought is to attack)

Any fool knows you defend from the front, yet Bendtner still wanders around up front without any purpose.

Our main problem is defending effectively. Take the opening and the winning goal especially. As a 10-year-old playing on a saturday morning you are heckled at to 'close him down'. It's something installed into all footballers at the youngest age (obviously all of our's missed that lesson). We have conceded 26 goals this season from 18 yards or further. Close the ******* ball down!!!

We were awful once again today and it will leave a bitter taste in our mouth for the remaining fixtures. Awful in that we showed little conviction, zero ambition and most of all we have not learned from our past mistakes.

Something has to change...

*Hope the attending fans arrive home safely*

er no, his contract runs out next season. Wenger can honour his contract which he said he will always even if hes not going to get another one after it.

Agreed. RvP for Bendtner should have been the only change, with 20 mins to go.

Any fool knows you defend from the front, yet Bendtner still wanders around up front without any purpose.

Agreed. For all the injuries that undoubtedly hamper us, the need for an organised defence is glaring.
When Keown coached defence we went 10 Champions League games with clean sheets with a defence that had Flamini and Senderos in. Bring back Keown!
Diaby too often has no final ball.

Walcott should have been moved centrally for Bendtner where he was able to cause problems, instead of wide where he runs and will cut back the ball for the empty space in the box.

"Tec" Szesney should have been recalled in January and given the number one keepers jersey until the end of the season, he has been in godod form on loan and considering the errors from Almunia and Fabianski it feels like we would have had little to lose by giving Tec a chance.

In an ideal world:

Almunia

Sagna Gallas Vermaelen Clichy

Nasri Ramsey Song Arshavin

Fabregas

Van Persie

2-0.

Substitutions -

Denilson on for Ramsey

Diaby on for Arshavin

Shut-out, game over.

This is our strongest team? Only 3 of the above players started today.

You have to mention injuries when it comes to defeats/poor displays.

Almunia and the expression 'shut out' shouldn't be on the same page let alone post.

Fair enough.

He is the best keeper at the club though which speaks volumes.

Shut-out should be mentioned because we continue to fail miserably at it.
