Shut-out, game over.

This is our strongest team? Only 3 of the above players started today.

You have to mention injuries when it comes to defeats/poor displays.

In an ideal world:Almunia would be riddled with the pox and nowhere near our team

That's realistic talk isn't it? How would this conversation go?

PHW: "Arsene, next season you're gonna win something or you're out of here".

AW : "OK, you can fuck off".

I'm fuming about the lack of respect this man is getting.. :banghead:
so what you happy with the situation???!!!!

Keep him in for as long as possible just in case we win smth in 2045.

Un-fuckin-believable.

Btw: up untill Wed night i have never criticised AW but enough is enough. everyone can see we need a new keeper, defender, DM and striker and AW cant.

How do you know he doesn't?

Hardly any big players move during the January Transfer Window, it's just not known for it.
He can hardly go out in the press in the middle of the season at a post match conference and slam all his players and name them individually at the same time, can he?
Whatever anyone says, we have been ridiculously unlucky with injuries this year but that doesn't mean we don't have to make changes.

I believe the recent comments about our Goalkeeping are about the most negative he could have got away with and genuinely believe he will make changes.

I also think the man needs a stronger number two. Wigan's most attacking players were N'Zogbia and Moses who were attacking down the right all the time. Yet we decided to change things by fundamentally weakening this side of the pitch. Doesn't make sense to me and surely it didn't to Pat Rice.

It's not even that that's needed. How are these contract negotiations going to go? I'll tell you. The board will get down on their knees, maybe kiss Wenger's shoes and beg him to stay for another four years. Will there be anything to these other than simply hoping Arsene will stay? Any real assessment of what the club should do or his performance over the lifetime of this contract (from 2005/6 I believe??)? Not a chance. And that's no way to run a club like Arsenal.

As many on here know, im a postive guy - i can find mitigating circumstances, reasons for defeat and will stick up for the team when i feel its needed, even when most poeple dont feel they can.

Today, i cannot - the second half was an absolute joke - easiest win of the season that should have been but the lazy, desireless, spiritless people on that pitch couldnt get the job done.

Why VP is kept on the bench instead of coming on and turning the screw is beyond me.

We have had a decent season in my opinion, albeit one we should have done better in - but today was a shambles, how players like Diaby and Walcott get anywhere near our first team is a joke.

Thats football eh?

well for me it comes down to: if the board have given him fuck all to spend then they should kiss his shoes, but if the money is there and he decided not to spend it then they should show him the door

Arsène Wenger saw how RvP changed the game against the spuds. That was for him to put RvP into the whole second half. The man needs to play! World Cup is there, he wants to show progress, so let the man play! But no, he wanted to bet on Merida instead, and brought the 'great' Henderson for the bench! Great Wenger, really great!

Van Persie ia a top player, and we want to become a top club - that means we need to have him on the pitch, and he's the only one who survived from the unlucky 09-10 season we had. Well, not so much, considering he passed 5 months sidelined.

Anyway, the Arsenal supporters needs to start something on the stadiums and let Wenger knows we are not as stupid as he thinks we are!

Me as well, i devoted my life, my year, my weekends, some dates, friends, money and everything else, just to watch the Arsenal play! And what did i get? 3-2 down? lost against spuds? Oh, come on, Wenger, you had your time, go away and board, bring some winner manager!

I don't think we can judge Wenger until the summer transfer window closes on this sort of thing. I personally don't believe he had any money to spend last summer, despite selling Kolo and Ade.

If he makes no signings and we fuck up again next year, he can go.

We got 40 million for those two, spent 8 mill on TV - maths aint my strong point but that leaves 32 mill left over dont it?

It depends on whether the board let him reinvest it really. I'm not part of the AK brigade, but regardless of whether you want him gone or not, he's not an idiot - I just cant see that there was money to spend last year.

Course the money was there - he chose to spend it on extending the contracts of Bendtner, Almunia, Fabianski, Denilson, Walcott etc

In which case why does he personally chose to make such silly remarks about being able to spend £30m on one player if required.

If the truth is that he can't then at best he's a puppet on a string to the board of directors and at worst he is a liar who is mismanaging supporters expectations.

If the money ain't there that's the board's problem to comment on. Wenger has gone public far too often about having money available. It's part of his DNA.....to try and be the first manager to win the league spending fuck all and by doing it with youth players.
