Is this a Spuds notice board, one minute they want Jol out then he is a genius. Lets get behind Arsene and the boys, everyone can see that we have been hampered severely by injuries and as one of the columnists pointed out, take the same players out of Chavski or Manure and they would struggle.

Yes Wenger has made the odd tactical error but look at the countless times his tactics were spot on like against Madrid, Juve and the entire unbeatable season. He will do for me anyday and above all else he gives a shit about the club. He is never critical of players after games because that is kept in house. It would not do any players confidence the world of good to hear the manager say on TV that he is shit.

As for the players, Gilberto is not the best centre half in the world but fair play to him for playig there, at least he wants to help the side as best he can. Hoyte is not a left back but again he is prepared to do a job (unlike Flamini who wont play there). The Beast may or may not come good but I would argue that he has offered more to the team on occasions than Reyes ever did. I knwo who I would want out of the two.

Lets not stoop to the level of the scum or chavski and boo the team off if we are not 4-0 up at half time or call for the head of the greatest manager we have had or turn on players because in their haste to try and turn around a difficult season they give the ball away now and then. Remember, we are THE ARSENAL and should be proud of everything that that stands for, win, lose or draw

Maybe instead of just calling them "shite" when they have a bad run, we can encourage them , after all, confidence of a footballer is a huge factor.

this guy is 100% right if you want to bash the team do it while in your own company,
There is enough negative views of The Arsenal in the media without it coming from ourselves

I needed to read this stuff after the recent dire performances. Our poor form is nothing compared to the 1980s and I'm sure the team will come good soon - with our support (but I think Freddie is past it and don't rate the 'Beast')

the beast needs time, and to be played in his correct position witch is CM, and not ST, remember henry in his first season, now look at him, and ljungberg jus to injury prone, get about 6 or 7 mill for him whilst we can, and well said by we_are_the_arsenal.

everyone is entitled to an opinion, thats what this forum is for, and its all very well standing by the players but there comes a time when you need to take a good hard look at them and realise they aint good enough and we need something new.
Aliadere hasn't performed, Baptista hasn't performed, Senndros hasn't performed. Our team is lacking some thing. We have lost and drawn ridiculous games and should have scored on numerous occasions.
It dosen't make you any less and Arsenal fan because you opioion of a player or performance is different to anothers

I beg to differ, I think that one player was Adebayor.

Actually I think it's not quite fair to say the only one who tried was Fabregas or Adebayor. Think they all did (except maybe Lehman and Eboue who sometimes look as if they are just spoiling for fights) but it just isn't working out. The difference between success and games like yesterday is a fine one. Just that little less confidence, that edge that is missing, injuries (big or small), changes that disrupt rhythmns...nothing major but all it takes is a little bit of each, and the resulting difference can be massive.

Liverpool defeat

Post by HORSE »

I was at the game yesterday. We seemed unbalanced in midfield with Diaby, Denilson and Fabregas winning the ball but we had no outlet to pass and run at them and no penetration into there box.We keeped over passing in the middle of the park and lost pocession because of it several times.Hleb seemed to have lost all confidence we should of had Rosciky on from the start
We also don't look like we are going to score goals yestrerday, ady struggled on his own and the beast has to start scoring or hitting the target wth the chances he has in the game, did anybody notice he was doing shooting practise before the game and hiting the target!!!
If we start missing our chances and let in the goals has we have been doing lately all confidence is going to go from this team and we could struggle to finish in the top 4, remember we have still to play Bolton and the scum from the lane .

Horse is on the ball. I can add nothing. I've not seen such a spineless Arsenal performance for a long time. But we need to get behind the team to help them finish 4th. West Ham next Saturday is now a key game as they are fighting for survival and on yesterday's form we will struggle to beat them.

West Ham is going to be tough, the only thing is they will play the same game as the match at upton park and and defend for 80 minutes and give it a go in the last 10. It worked last time so it will more than likely work again, Toure having the only shot looking like it might go in.
