I sold all the shit players from the current squad. its amazing how much money some teams spend on some shit players for example, PSG bought Traore for Â£7M

Dunno how i got the offer of 12.5mil from madrid for senderos, it said in the news thing they were looking for a CB and i guess they REALLLYYY needed one lol so i bit their hand off. He isn't there anymore though they had him for 2 seasons and sold him to Getafe for 6mil

I'm an old skool (note the spelling!

) player and start low.
I've this year started my hardest ever challenge.

Started Un-employed and with a 'Sunday league' reputation with several leagues open.

The first job which came up was in Wales, Aberystwyth
Just finished the 1st season and won the treble!

now in the summer and I've got the Pre-pre-pre rounds of the CL!

We're so going out! but the losers money make us rich regardless!
Think I'll move soon after that.

On my first Arsenal save I bought in Frey for Â£23m and Rolfes (left footed tall DM from Leverkusen) for Â£15m. Also several hot prospect teens, e.g. Lukaku from Anderlecht Â£2.3m. Sold Song to Toulouse for Â£4m and Eboue to Sunderland Â£4m. Then bought Kjaer (young Danish CB from Palermo) for Â£22m in January. Finished 5th and knocked out CL quarters by Lyon. Wilshire got Player's Young Player of the Year.

For next season bought more teens and Mexes for Â£30m. Sold Traore>Newcastle Â£4.5m, Rosicky>Milan Â£5m, Silvestre>Lens free, Senderos>free (picked up by Juve), Jay Simpson>Notts County Â£1m, Djourou>Hull Â£4m, Almunia>Real Madrid Â£2.5m.
Was sacked a week before Christmas. They bought Arsene back. I was unemployed for a year but then got the Man City job.

I am half way through the first season in a second Arsenal save and doing much better by not always sticking with 4-2-3-1 but playing our real life formation in tougher matches with Veloso the anchorman. Got a 1-0 win at Inter in CL group stage this way. Bought Frey and Mexes also.

in my most extensive game (on fm08), i started with Dortmund for 3 seasons - won the league in the 2nd and reached the champions league semi, did the double in next season. then i went to juve and rinsed it because they still had giovinco and chiellini. THEN i got the arsenal job and ruled europe for 3 seasons until i flirted with the real madrid job and got sacked and there was nothing going and international management with the dutch (who i won the world cup with) got dull because of inactivity and took the independiente job... ended up with barcelona after 1 and a half seasons trying to comprehend the two-phase league thingy.

My favourite game was with Charlton on FM2007. We fought relegation for a couple of years, moved up the table and in my 6th season finished runners up to Man Utd on goal difference and won the FA Cup. Won the league 2 seasons later and got to CL semi's, beating Barca 4-3 (agg) in the quarters.

Currently managing Fiorentina, but not really into it.

slightly off topic but which is better, Football manager 2010 or Championship manager 2010?

I've been playing an old version of CM on my PSP for ages and was thinking of upgrading and getting a full PC version .

Any suggestions?

Neven Subotic, a beast and legend of my arsenal team. Went unbeaten in the 3rd season conceding only 13 goals.

In the 4th now and managing arsenal and england, jack is now established taking over from andrey behind the front 2.
