Szczesny for number one?

Sign Buffon, get the young lad in as Number 2, have him in the Carling and FA CUps. Then after about 2 years he'll be ready.

he's hardly world class now is he. i remember people saying the same about almunia while lehman was about and have the odd bad game. I'd still stick with lehman if we had the choice

almunia was in the end of his twenties when lehmann was about and came from a shit club, being a shit keeper.

szczesny was incredible at the reserves and is a god at brenford, and he has league 1 defenders to protect him and a shit club to play for, yet he has clean sheet after clean sheet. i know strikers at league one are not robin van persies, but the boy makes spetacular unbelievable saves.

i want a big experienced keeper for next season, but i'm sure that szczesny is BY FAR the best keeper in our club, kicks the hell out of mannone, almunia and flappy. if we sign a great keeper, i'd like szczesny to be our FA cup and Carling Cup keeper

So, barring any injury to this great keeper, he'll get maybe 2-3 games in each competition. :?

Well, you certainly make Szeczsny sound good - I just hope you're right, mate :?

I don't have an opinion on him really, as apart from reputation and a few YouTube clips, I can't say I've seen much of him, but people seem to rave about him, so lets hope you're all right, as I don't think I can handle yet another 'Don Vito Flappy-Manuel' :(

To be fair to BG, Wenger predicted an unbeaten season one year early, as well...

He kept a clean sheet with Senderos and Silvestre in front of him in the Carling Cup earlier in the season, this boy must be a God! 8) :barscarf:

Arrhh yes, your 100pct correct there young g88ner, but I really think W.S needs game time, he's not going to get being a number 2 to a super duper number 1 that we may sign, to replace to present inept incumbent(s).

He should really go back out on loan again, and perhaps this is really what Flappy has suffered from, serious game time, he can't be learning anything sitting his arse on the bench, playing the odd C.C. and F.A. cup games, and learning from the useless Almunia. :?

Bring in to level keeper for top spot.

Mannone and Almunia to fight it out for number 3 and 4.

Sell Fabianski.
Slight change to that mate...

Buy in Joe Hart, make Szeszny No 2 and shoot the othr 2 Crunts!

Ere frank, I do believe you've hit the proverbial nail on the head!!!

Flappy has been watching Arsenal's (so called) no 1 keeper from the sidelines and due to a language problem, thinks "So THAT'S what I'm supposed to do when I play in the first team!!"

WOJCIECH WATCH:

another solid performance for Brentford, although he conceded early on from the spot, he kept the score 1-1 late in the day and they are now 11 games unbeaten with our shot stopper... well, stopping the shots!

If he's good enough he's old enough.
We do need to get our defence sorted, though.

As for Almunia, I cringe with embarrassment and anger every time I think of him.
He has disrespected the most important job in the world, as far as I'm concerned.

I just want him out of the club.
Not on the bench.
Gone.
