Young Gunners

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Young Gunners

Post by Kiki »

Would there be any chance the admin/mods would be able to have a interview with any of the bloggers from the Young Guns or Arsenal Youth blog or both to find out more about our loanees and youths for The Online Gooner site.

I think it would be interesting. With Setanta now not showing the young guns I find it impossible to see much of them in action now. I say others are in the same boat. I enjoyed watching them on Arsenal TV.

Your damn right mate, I used to like watching the res games live and the youth highlights on Arsenal Tv before Setanta went bankrupt (in the UK only)

I work about an hour from Underhill but it would be carnage for me to get down there for the usual 7pm kick off.

I think just checking out the Arsenal Young Guns website is the best we can hope for currently as it gives a much better insight into the younger players than the usual arsenal.con propaganda b*llok.

we have become so shit, that fans would rather talk about the ladies team or the young reserves

when i was growing up, we never talked about woman's football or reserve teams - it comes to something when fans can name the womans team - to be honest i couldn't tell you one single female player

i am only interested in the first team

Lol.... whats wrong with having an interest in the other parts of the club? Its not like we have a quota and part of that is now taken up by following the youth teams. Its just interesting to keep an eye on the future as well as the present. I'm sure we all like to watch classic football clips from time to time but that doesnt mean we have lost sight of our current performance. And as for "rather" talk about the reserves I'm sure if you look down the list of threads 99% are about the first team...

Thanks Jeorge - that is a very good informative blog. Maybe we could just ask you the question here but an interview or podcast would have more structure instead maybe of being bombarded with questions.
