Away Support

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Away Support

Post by Gooner123 »

Fans travel over land and sea to support their team. But I have become disgusted by not only Arsenal but how many teams acknowledge the fans for their support after the game. Im sorry but two Arsenal players going over to the crowd showing their appreciation is an absolute joke. If the other 9 players can't be bothered why should we bother to support them and sing through the majority of the game. No fans No Money No job

I agree completely. If we win they all come over and throw their shirts into the crowd etc, but if we lose the majority don't want to know. We're paying their wages, the least they could do is come and acknowledge us.

Maybe AW should enforce it. I remember at the end of the Middlesbrough home game last season, there players couldn't head for the tunnel any quicker, but Mclaren stood on the pitch and told each and every one of them to go and applaud their travelling support.

It don't take much, but that little gesture means a lot to us fans.
