I'll be looking out for this programme.
It amazes me how people can cope during wars.
My ol' mum was in London during the Blitz. With a two year old daughter to worry about. While her own mother (and younger family members) were living almost full time in tube stations.
These days we are lucky. Apart from the odd terrorist attack, our wars have been fought outside of this island.

It makes you think that if only a few of those bombs had been dropped on Poland or Spain we might not have our current keeper problems
Seriously its quite chilling to think one bomb in the wrong place and any one of us may have never existed.
Oh and i reckom bomb shelters should be made out of milk bottles
You will only understand that if you have been watching it

My nan was blown out of an Anderson shelter during the bombings while pregnant she went on to lose the baby when it was born and my grandad was only allowed three days leave from the army in North Africa to be with her. People were hard in those days no councilling and all that shit you just got on with it.
Its amazing when you see the power of these bombs and to think its just one going off on the TV programme the bombers used to drop hundreds of them during the real thing
