Enjoy it, they said last saturday that they're digging up the pitch in about a week to lay a slightly softer one, which is kinder on the calf muscles. So you could be one of the last people to play on that pitch!Gooner Whitey wrote:teamates then!! See you thursday!JMascis666 wrote:Team Wilshere for me.
I am planning to perform like a mixture of Silvestre and Stepanovs at the back.
Wembley - eat your heart out!

Brilliant Day! Got there nice and early, around 8ish and went in through the club level entrance. Got the vests and into teams, then down to pitch side for a team photo, had a little warm up. Then we played 5 games. Got knocked out in the group stages
Had a chat with Bob Wilson regarding our goal keeping situation and he said a replacement is a MUST! And he also said we need about 4 more players, he reckons Chamakh is a done deal and the club photographer was there said he has done all his pictures already. Bob was a top guy though, really nice and had lots to say, few funny stories about Lehmann. Had a chat with Charlie George who was a also a very nice guy, hates Theo to put it frank.
Went down the tunnel, used the away dressing rooms. Then back up to club level, got a free (quite shocked it was free) team photographer that we took earlier and a medal, had a bite to eat and off we went.
But brilliant day, good bunch of people and would do it again next year!
