I think both barca and cesc are forgetting hes under contract until 2014. Its going to take a bit more then 30 mil if our negotiators/manager have any sense.... Oh wait :(

Sorry but if Anelka wnt for 23 million and after ONE season of TEN plus goals, Adebayor a similar price after ONE good goal-scoring campaign then surely Henry should have gone for at least as much and probably more. Its not simply about what the other team wants to pay unless you simply want to sell and are in fact a selling club, and not inteested in re-investing the money back into the team.

Our mission in buying or selling players shouldn't simply be to balance books, pay off bad decisions by our Board, or maximize profits, it should be to at least maintauin the same quality in the team if not improve on it and protect our club financially AS WELL.

Every time there's been speculation before he's come out straight away and talked of his commitment to Arsenal and his desire to stay. His silence is deafening the last few days. :cry:

All season long I've been saying that he wouldn't go until next summer, I no longer believe this. Unless there is a statement by the end of the week I think the fat lady will be singing.

not worth selling at that price, I'd rather keep him for 4 more years and let him go for free!
