Theres gonna Be a Fans Backlash...

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Of course there will be - too many times have we seen our top players *aside from Helb and Gio* leave to Barcalona.

Take the piss much?

For every fan backlashing there will be two fans with AK banners.

You should realise that Wenger lost it ages ago, not just if Cesc goes

no mate, you should realise the conditions that arsène's been working on. he's a master.

but if he does that, i'll eat my words.

Not this time. The mood at the Fulham game was vexed and that banner spoke for a lot of people.

Patience was already stretched to breaking point and this will mean a lot of empty seats come August so much so, that even Arsenal's deluded heirarchy won't be able to ignore it.

If we start next year like we finished in April, the fans anger will spill over. And with any luck it will be directed as much at the Board as the Manager. Both need changing.

The fee would have to be disclosed at the agm in august mate, if not b4. cuntybayor went for an undisclosed fee, but was revealed in the account files about a month later so they cant even pull that trick on us

This makes more sense at least - the Board need to answer for this - or at least actually explain whatb weare doing and why and what ev=xactly their ambition for Arsenal is.

The trouble is this should have happened when Vieira was sold or certainly Henry. The Board has not had to answer one genuine question about its leadership of the club to now.. I mean even if you believe in this "Wenger Project" or that the manager refuses to spend money that is available the Board should at least have to explain why they have been 100% behind him even to now.

The reality is much of our transfer activity bordered on negligence since 2005, and there were several instances which would have justified his sacking at an ambitious sporting club the first time they happened - which suggests either the Board gave the manager no alternative but to undertake those decisions or that the Board was happy to let the manager undertake them without complaint. He is THEIR employee still after all. Whatever isn happening they have to answer for it and the employees responsible for it.

The problem is this; one of the clearest ways to show resentment to whats going on is not renewing our ST but mine took about 8 years to get hold of so not renewing it would be a waste of 8 years IMO or silvers/reds not buying but the club have a nice tourist base for those empty seats.
