As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
everytime i buy a new team shirt i get Bergkamp 10 printed on the back. That will never change until someone like him comes along, and yes, it's going to be a long wait and may never happen again in todays modern football.

it makes me upset watch one of my idols kiss our badge today, say "I'm happy where i am" and in the following FUCKING WEEK come to the boss with a transfer request. don't accept a 4 year contract, then!
i don't blame cesc, i'm not angry with him, if he loves barça then let him be happy at barça. but don't consider him an ARSENAl legend, then.
i'm just saying that one of the best footballers in the history is a true gooner, and i'm proud of that. a man who wasn't born a gooner, but became a true gooner.

Dont think there'll ever be another player in his mould again norfbankN16.
He was a once off in terms of technical ability,attitude...he had the lot.

I can't disagree with any of that matey but Bergkamp was a great player in a great team. Cesc is a great player in a not so great team. There's no justification in slagging Cesc off.
Dennis is a top man, one of the best I've ever seen in the red shirt, but that doesn't make Cesc a c#nt

again, i don't think cesc is a *word censored*, is a fantastic player who gave 100% for us, so thank you cesc fabregas.
what i'm saying is, tony adams, dennis bergkamp, those lots are different. they wanted to end their time as players here. they loved this club so much that they would accept the stupid 1 year contracts.
i know cesc is great, but he loves barcelona. bergkamp loves arsenal. that makes a lot of difference to me.
The man below is a legend. He scored this goal with a broken leg for fucks sake, he loves Arsenal but wasnt made assurances on the future of the club. He's a Barca boy at heart and who can say they wouldnt do the same if Arsenal were the best team in the world and they came knocking?
