they win either way. first of all they stir it up by talking shite about players meeting with managers and talking about leaving, then they come up with price, and whether or not a swap will be in effect, then they say it's going to happen but when it doesn't they don't even sound embarassed. the if the load of bollocks I read on sky was always true I would have been worried but I'm still 45% sure cesc will stay. obviously I'm not sure but this happened with viera leaving all the time betweeb 2000-2005 and it took 5 years for him to leave.sycicsid wrote:hmm all of sudden sky dont seem so sure - Tossers![]()

Settle down...
He hasn't gone yet, and as far as hard evidence tells us, he won't be going for a while yet.
We've debated, lamented and defended the state of the club for a long time on here, and this is only bringing it to the fore of everyone's minds. Why? Because, for the most part, the worst is true.
This reaction is no more than over-reaction.
Wait and see what Cesc does. He's proven to me in his time with the club that he's a great bloke, and I trust his decision.
If he leaves for his home club, fulfills his childhood dream and wins trophies, good on him. Why should he stay if he feels he's drowning in mediocrity? He knows far more about the workings of the club than any of us.
If he stays out of loyalty to the club and fans then he will rise in status to one of the club's most revered players. He has the ability to drag us through in spite of the squad he plays in.
If he stays and wins trophies with us, then I will jump for joy.
All of the possibilities can come true, and we can't predict which the future will hold.
So be patient and see what Cesc does. His life is his own.
When he makes his decision, react however the result dictates.

This place will be the same come next year. Unless all the problems are addressed.
We need 4 players and we're at least 3 top players away from being a good team. That's including Cesc and the new boy Chamack.
If Cesc goes thats 4 top players 5 in total!
