4-4-F***ING-2

Post by dvbrisgooner1 »

For 10 minutes tonight we dominated the game with Adebayor and Eduardo running their defence all over the place. Suddenly we switch to 4-5-1 with Eduardo out wide and Rosicky in the middle - result: we spend the next hour under pressure. Finally we bring on Bendtner and cause them trouble again.

The Manager fucked up tonight and threw away two crucial points against absolutely shit opposition. Their centre-backs are complete jokers and should have been exposed by us but, for some reason, we went negative after 10 minutes.

Mark my words, this result could come back to haunt us come May. Newcastle were there for the taking and The Boss didn't twist the knife.

And mark my words, there is a slight possibility that, if we go the rest of the season unbeaten, we could possibly win the league. Maybe.

Just joking, mate. On a serious note, I'm with you. Prince (Eduardo - for those of you not familiar with what I'm calling him these days) looks totally wasted on the wing, and 4-5-1 really seems to get us no where.

Absolutely agree about Eduardo. It's not fair on him as much as anything else - this lad is a goalscorer so let him play where he can do the damage.

4 4 2 in the first 20 mins and we totally out played them ,,
we were lucky in the end to get away with a point and as said above prince was shite when he moved to the wing,, ade was another who started brightly and then became as db10 says,, a gee bag,,

eboue was poor and rosicky the same,, but look at the players we were missing so there was no fluid passing,, as i said earlier if we win on sun then 7points from 3 away games in a week will be seen as a very good week

To me 4-5-1 smacks of negativity and totally contradicts wengers comments about the confidence he has in his team - if you trust them then let them go and attack teams cos that is what we are fcuking good at  If you dont feel we are good enough at the back to allow our attacking players freedom then go and buy somebody to improve us defensively with all that money I keep hearing about  Either way start playing to our strengths cos that is our only hope of acheiving anything

Eduardo was bought as a goalscorer yet is never played upfront he is always stuck out on the fucking wing in a five man midfield, what a fucking waste.I agree about the 4-5-1.We were playing a Newcastle team that lacked confidence and has a poor back four but we played into there hands by playing just one upfront,Things improved when Bendtner came on but the damage had already been done.Come on Arsene its got to be 4-4-2 every game.Does he not have faith in Bendtner or Theo to start them away from home in league games?

I thought we played 4-4-2 but after ten minutes, started losing control so changed it at half time to 4-5-1?

We changed to 4-5-1 AFTER 10mins not at half time.Eduardo was stuck on the left wing for most of the first half.

Couldn't agree more, confidence my arse! What the hell are we doing playing 4-5-1 aganist that crap, ok 4-5-1 would even be ok if we have some genuine attacking wingers on the field but Dudu is a striker, Tomas has forgotten how to shoot from outside the box, gilberto and diarra are DMC's and eboue is a clown and a crosser of the ball thats it!

We had no creativity in the side and it showed. We invited pressure and we got punished for it. Dudu cannot play on the wing full stop.

Why on earth didn't we swap Diarra or Gilberto for Denilson?!! if he trusts him let him go, he did a job in the CC and he would have given us that spark that was serverely lacking! Nic did as much damage as he could but without anyone linking the midfield to attack it was a waste of time!

Tomas has to track back into the left back position just to get a touch and adebayor was constantly dropping to the half way line and leaving no-one ahead of him.

Very annoyed at 2 points dropped against fat sam

Agree with you all. Can`t understand why we do that, and why Mr. Wenger don`t see what we see
