Have you ever heard of a keeper conning the ref in a challenge?

I agree, but EVERY players first reaction is to wag the finger at the ref and deny a penalty - its hardly conning him as the alcoholic claims?

There was contact, and it was a penalty, but Ronaldo fucked it up by being halfway to the floor by the time the contact was made. If he just kept on naturally he would have got the penalty and probably the red card for the keeper, but him trying to make sure it was a penalty cost him. Serves him right.
