One of the things that distinguishes this forum from loads of others is the fact that we can go from serious discussion to piss taking to pun-fest and then back to seriousness again. It was ever thus and is part of the reason this forum has grown so much. There are plenty of other forums where you can talk about the same points over and over again without the relief of a gag or a picture of tits to break up the monotony, if that's what you prefer, but the formula of this one is unlikely to change.
And for the 500,000th time - there is no 'clique'!!
I know there's no clique. I was just a bit pissed off that the thread had gone off topic. Plus I'd been in the pub all day which didn't help my mood.
I appreciate what you are saying re break up the monotony but again isn't that what we have the basement for ? If it is a thread about Joe Cole then I still maintain that I don't see why it needs to be full of pages of jokes between people ? I mean if you want to break up the monotony and look at a pair of tits then start a new thread no ? The tits and arse thread ? Drunk or not, I still feel the same way as last night but I guess that's just a difference of opinon.

Hmmm.... I've got to admit, when this thread went off topic, I didn't really like it (that's the truth) (it was IHH's fault ) and this is serious stuff here, this transfer could really happen (and I hope it does) as for the click or clickyeue I really don't know what you are going on about Al, (coming from the best keeper and best looking male member of this forum)
Yeah as I replied to IHH the clique comment was not really meant that way. But the point of the thread going off topic still stands IMO.

I have read this forum for almost a year before my first post. I have been on other gooner forums and actually been ignored when I posted. Hell I don't mind my posts being ripped to shit, I actually learn from that from "proper" gooners.
I post regularly on a Skype chat room with a lot of friends and the kind of individuality people post on there is similar to what happens on here. To me it's what makes the forum great. It becomes more of a social network than a forum which I think is cool.
Back to Joe Cole
I have mixed views. I like the player definitely. But my worry is we spend our budget on the likes of Joe Cole and don't strengthen areas that are of significantly greater concern.
