My first time away at Newcastle and couldn't believe how quiet it was there. Only one section of the ground next to away supporters sang (a bit) and I honesly can't remember one chant going around the whole ground at all.
Yes, the atmosphere ta Ashburton is shite sometimes, but it is a myth that we are quieter than other grounds. My away trips this year have proved that.

I watched the game on TV and nearly fell asleep. I didn't want to say it but the Times said it for me - "Boring, boring Arsenal" - one 'goal' in 6 hours football - doesn't take much does it? Their anti-Arsenal stance is just below the surface. The media are having a field day. But we were poor - need to improve for Saturday

Yeah i was there too and their support was fucking shit! "Where's your famous atmosphere?" the amount of times we sung that tells you everything.
I've been to every away game this season bar 4, and and the atmosphere has been very poor at some grounds. Some teams don't even sing when they're 1-0 up! At least we do that.
