He kept a clean sheet in his only PL game for us as well, away to Portsmouth.

not having that mate. Powling suffered badly from injuries and had to retire early. Many at the club of the time rated him better than Brady. Mancini was bought in for one reason only, to keep us up, and he did.

Already nominated by Mr G, but I didn't think he was that bad, he probably should have got into the team a bit quicker than he did, because Pat Rice, towards to end of his Arsenal career (I would say the last 3 season) was terrible.

Have to give an "honourable" mention to Stefan Malz - made a latter-day Silvestre look quick.

Baptista escapes thanks to his goals at Anfield.

I can't have Kiwomya and Helder in this - Helder's assists and Kiwomya's 3 goals were key in us noy being relegated in 1995.

again not the worse, ok not the best, remember him scoring a hattrick v Watford...

Edit... Hmmm... again Wilf Rostron wasn't a bad player, couldn't get into our team, and went on for a half decent career with Watford and Sunderland (I think)

Mark Heeley was a type of Wenger type of player, very slight, purchased from Peterborough, showed promise until he was kicked totally off the park by a european team (can't remember who) in the UEFA cup.
