Theo OUT

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Lennon and SWP knew what to do when they got hold of the ball during the Japan game. They both deserve to go.

What is Theo ? Winger or centre forward............or neither. Personally I think he'd be very dangerous straight down the middle.
Wenger will decide

3 threads - and it's not confirmed yet
Yep... I locked the other two because this one has the most replies. Usually I would keep open the ealiest posted thread but on this occasion that would be a tad dumb. In a kind of Rebel/IHH way...

All bias aside as things stand Lennon shits on Walcott. A big Tom Hundredstone post all-you-can-eat-buffet shit, too. Which is saying something.
In a sense yes, lennon is clearly a better all-round winger but i dont see why we need both him and SWP. SWP imo is just a poor mans aaron lennon, walcott gives something different to both of those and i would personally sacrifice SWP for theo.

On a personal level i feel for theo, i know a lot of people are frustrated with him but for an ingerland player hes a sound and honest lad. Perhaps this can inspire him to make a real fist of his arsenal career.
SWP might be a poor man’s Lennon, who in turn is probably a poor man’s Franz Carr, but right now Walcott is a homeless man’s SWP. He might come semi-good one day but for that to have even the slightest chance of happening he probably needed a serious wake-up call.

This is hilarious. That'll teach the ineffective *word censored* to spout off about England being his priority all fucking season.

Theo is a boy living in a man's world. He's been listening to Wenger's hype for too long (the same goes for Denilson, Almunia, Flappy and Diaby). In reality they are all useless.

Perhaps this will be a wake up call for him. Probably not though - Wenger will tell him it will all be better as he gives him a cuddle and a new contract...

Fair enough its a game of opinions but personally when staring elimination in the face i would like to be able to look to my bench and bring on walcott and tell him to drift in from the right and trouble the centre halves rather then shaun wright philips who is frankly average in every regard.

Edit: As for the kick up the arse, that could be a good call and i hope it works out as a sliver lining for him in the long run.

Gutted for the lad.  What's important now is how he responds. If he learns from it and works on his weaknesses than we might end up benefiting from it. 8)

Personally, I wouldn't have brought Theo either. He's not good enough. He may become good enough a few years down the road but at present he just isn't.

Having said that, I do have this terrible fear that the much mooted Theo "potential" is only ever going to be that. Potential. I can see him at 32 years old huffing and puffing it up and down the wing ineffectively and the commentators blathering on about his potential... :?

im sad for him BUT he simply isnt good enough.
This could also end his career with us.
I dont think hes ever had a football brain.
Id recommend him training for the 2012 olympic 100 metres though. :barscarf: :barscarf:
