Personally I hope that spain, holland and france get knocked out in the group stages - why would you want your Arsenal players playing for an extra two weeks when they could be on hols recharging their batteries for the new season ?

D'ya know what? I fucking hate them too. I am English and can't stand the national team. It's full of disgusting, thick, brainless chav scum, thugs, run by a bunch of corrupt, sex pests and supported by some vile, racist, xenophobic, crunts. Watcing any international tournament that England play in, is a wholly unenjoyable experience. Sitting there listening to the drivel spouted by idiots like Lineker, Shearer and Lawrenson- not to mention Hansen- drives me mental. Every other team is full of cheats, divers, prima donnas or over-rated talents and every weather condition will 'of course suit the ..... because they will be used to it.' Then as soon as Ingerland crash out in penalties or more probably because they aren't clever enough, technical enough or good enough, Arsenal football club get the blame.i fucking hate England anyway, and now there is no Arsenal player anywhere near the squad i can hate them 100% and hope they fail miserably!

His desire to imitate David Beckham off the pitch with arm candy girlfriends, kids books and OK Magazine photoshoots doesn't help. He might aspire to Beckham off the pitch but singularly fails to match him on it. He's more like David Brent than David Beckham.
So the answer is to get his overhyped arse down to the training ground for the first day of preseason and start working at his game. It is now his only hope. No one else will be mug enough to offer that kind of money to him so he either starts to perform next August or he's heading for football obscurity.
The choice is his.
I am just annoyed at Wenger's profligacy with our money in relation to unproven players - yet again. Pires wages do not guarantee Pires like performances.
