Joe Cole is a greedy chav *word censored*!!!!!
picked the below up from a chav forum:
cfc1905 (Chelsea): JoeC has recently done an interview on Chelsea TV and for someone who had just completed the double he was not very happy and still complaining of lack of game time. I believe that he has already signed in principal and agree that as a London boy he would prefer to stay in the Capital. Seeing as Harry has said he has not got him then Arsenal seems the logical place to go. On the wings you only have Walcott or Nasri (to the best of my knowledge) so a fit Joe could replace either of them. But therein lies the problem, is he really fit and fully recovered as his form for Chelsea was patchy to say the least? In his defence he probably would have preferred a run of games rather than cameo performances but he obvioulsy did not do enough to warrant starting or being kept on. I think probably a good calculated gamble and if he regains his form he can certainly be a match winner. KTBFFH

really mate? i think you are doing the same thing people tend to do, probably because of being to lazy to think. what is more important, the quality of the players you bring or their price tag? don't you think sol campbell was more than useful last season? don't you think that chamakh seems to be a good squad player, and joe cole a quality midfielder? or would you rather spend 20M on the likes of aquilani? or perhaps 30M in berbatoss?Irish Gooner wrote:Fabregas leaving will surely take any tiny gloss of this transfer.
And 3 free transfers in a row is just embarrassing in our position, it cannot be denied.
it's NOT the money, ffs. it's the quality that we need. if wenger signs a world class goalkeeper on a free, i'll be even happier than if he spent 20M...
it's quality what we need, not necessarily money spending.

I hope ur right mate, he is who we need! and 6 foot 1!!! Lets hope Wenger sees past the strict height restriction.projoe wrote:i have feeling we might sign him as it seems funny how arsenal suddenly are willing to talk with barca. gourcuff also has a £21m buy out clausemikeyb772001 wrote:damn right mate, its a fukin disgrace!!! No way. World Class keeper on a free?? They don't grow on trees, they cost money that the fans have been stumping up for several years. We won't get any keeper, Wenger thinks we have no problems there.brazilianGOONER wrote:really mate? i think you are doing the same thing people tend to do, probably because of being to lazy to think. what is more important, the quality of the players you bring or their price tag? don't you think sol campbell was more than useful last season? don't you think that chamakh seems to be a good squad player, and joe cole a quality midfielder? or would you rather spend 20M on the likes of aquilani? or perhaps 30M in berbatoss?Irish Gooner wrote:Fabregas leaving will surely take any tiny gloss of this transfer.

THE FACTS are we know nothing about how good Chamakh will adjust, and WENGER himself clearly waited a WHOLE SEASON with one less striker just so he could take him a on free transfer, that is not good enough.
Sol Campbell, the same guy people don't give a shit about when he is moving to Celtic. Has he even been offered a new deal??
3 free transfers in a row, say it all about Wenger. He lost the plot along time ago.
He should bring a team of free transfers, that will make his inflated ego look good. The likes of Fabregas and Van Persie don't deserve to be stuck in shit like this.

bG isnt about doing a bit of both? Yeah a free transfer now and again is good business but waiting for them to become free (like we did with Chamakh) and fucking the present (as we did when we stopped scoring goals last season) isnt in anyones interests...... Spending some cash and getting the odd free is about the best mix. Also there is no need to fling insults around ie 'too lazy to think' because someone doesnt agree with youbrazilianGOONER wrote:really mate? i think you are doing the same thing people tend to do, probably because of being to lazy to think. what is more important, the quality of the players you bring or their price tag? don't you think sol campbell was more than useful last season? don't you think that chamakh seems to be a good squad player, and joe cole a quality midfielder? or would you rather spend 20M on the likes of aquilani? or perhaps 30M in berbatoss?Irish Gooner wrote:Fabregas leaving will surely take any tiny gloss of this transfer.

That point has been addressed several times, if we are purposely leaving ourselves weakened in several areas just so we can get players on a free transfer ie Chamakh, then that is disgraceful.rigsby wrote:Does it matter how much a quality player costs?
