DENNIS HOPPER

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

SPOILER ALERT......SPOILER ALERT....SPOILER ALERT...

Don't read on if you haven't seen True Romance...and may want to in future

8)

Just a little bit of interesting (yes   ) info on True Romance. In the original screenplay, Clarence (Slater) was killed in the shootout. This, in turn, is referenced in the later Tarantino screenplay for Reservoir Dogs when Mr White(?) - Keitel, answers a question about his partnership with Alabama (whom he hooked up with, in a criminal partnership, after Clarence died).

Tarantion didn't direct True Romance, as it was bought from him, and then the ending was changed.

I hope that makes sense.

Marc, didn't that scene (the one with Oldman) happen quite early on in the film? :? :?

Frank - It's not the scene with Oldman, it's the shootout at the end in the hotel room when he get's shot by the eye, and it looks like he's been killed - That's what was changed.

The scene in Reservoir Dogs which ties in with this is one involving Michael Madsen, Harvey Keitel and (sorry, can't remember the guy's name but he was the guy giving out the names i.e:- "Mr Pink" ), shortly after Keitel had been released from prison.
