Again John Cross from The Mirror is adamant he's not coming to Arsenal. So looks like its not going to happen
in the same interview he says:
"It looks to me that someone's going to make a great free transfer, if he doesn't stay at Chelsea. I don't think it's going to be Tottenham. I've got a feeling, I may be wrong, that he's already agreed a deal with someone, and it's not Tottenham," he said.
"I'm a big fan of Joe's, but the feedback we've had is that he might well have already done something."

Yes I know of that interview, but Redknap has come out with new comments today (was on Sky Sports News this morning) He'll end up at Spurs imo."It looks to me that someone's going to make a great free transfer, if he doesn't stay at Chelsea. I am going to stick my neck out on the play here but I would rather we signed ballack
I know I am going to get lambasted (not for the first time mind
) but ballack feels more of a need in that (a) he is big and strong (b) is strong in the air & (c) will bring real experience both as a player and a winner. Cast aside your engerland goggles for one minute and you might actually agree with some of these points

Not for me. Ballack slows plays down too much & we’ve already got a few too many of those in our midfield. He’s not mobile enough anymore to play the 3rd midfielder role alongside or between Cesc/Cesc’s replacement & Song. Think we need someone more dynamic there, quicker to close players down & more of a driving force.augie wrote:I am going to stick my neck out on the play here but I would rather we signed ballackI know I am going to get lambasted (not for the first time mind
