I think that's the first time I have ever agreed with one of your posts Rigsby But I will just spoil that by adding that I think playing alongside the selfish and over rated Gallas and the headless chicken Kolo did him no favours.
His confidence was destroyed by high profile errors, but as stated other players were as guilty of such mistakes without being dropped or farmed out. I remember a young lad from the Eighties called Adams making a few massive mistakes, but with help from his manager went on to be a "decent" player for Arsenal.
Senderos was a great prospect when he came into the team, remember in the '05 Champions League game at home to Bayern Munich he was outstanding...hope he does well.

Yeah, that young kid from the 80's , i never rated him..........
For this financially prudent club/manager that we have, this was handled terribly from a fiscal point of view too. Nearly sold him to Everton last year, didnt after Djourou got injured and then played him about twice in the carling cup, loan him to Everton anyway and then let a young international player of potentially £7million leave on a free. Why not just sell him last season if you weren't going play him?

this is ridiculous, sure i wish him well, but to say he was harshly treated?? so you lot would prefer him to have continued in the side casuing even more cock ups. we all moan about denislos, al, flappy, and diaby getting countless chances, but when AW actually bites the bullet and realises someone isnt good enough and drops them indefinetely you moan about this too!!!!! (apart from DB10)
unbelivable.
he was average at best, and ask martin keowns opinion of him. when MK was helping the defence out as a coach it was well know that big phil didnt like it much and didnt take much on board and showed a massive lack of respect to MK.
not needed, not good enough AW has actually seen one of his kids is not up to and got rid of him. now for the others....
Such a shame it ends like this really. Always liked Senderos and it seems everybody did. He was a top bloke and intelligent. He was a fighter and cared alot but in the end he could only hack it by getting an extended run in the side and just never got that chance for long enough. He also had a tendency to be mentally off if he was on a bad run of form.
Obviously under the right manager Senderos will make a very good career for himself. One of Switzerlands best players, hope he has a good World Cup.
Sadly for us he is nowhere near the worst player in our squad or even CB. Silvestre may yet still be at the club and Djourou certainly will, a player that can't get in the Swiss squad ahead of Phil.

A little bit harsh there I.G. he's been injured... Pre-injury, they were starting together for the Swiss...

I met him twice too, agree he was a really nice bloke, down to earth.
As for Sainsburys, my Sainsbury's experience was one I posted a while ago that I met Adebayor there, he was looking at Scotch. He was really polite and chilled.

So, the Scotch was polite and chilled, but what about the lazy one?

Very good point. Although I didnt know about him disrespecting Keown. At the end of the day Phil made some huge errors, it doesnt matter who it was against, he made them.
Will those people that are mking excuses for woefull displays aginst Drogba forgive Al for his mistakes because it was against Man U? Thought not!
I read when he had a chance to play for us lat season he refused to do so.

Sainsbury? Really?!?!?!
Yes, Sainsburys in Winchmore Hill. He seemed pretty down to earth.

He seemed like and nice enough bloke, but it quickly became obvious we hasn't good enough. It does baffle me how players can show potential but then quikcly regress within a couple of years. In the end maybe the pressure was to great. A move to a club like Fulham is a good move IMO, good luck to him.
