I find quiet amazing some of the qoutes on here. Big Phil was a good player, nothing more.
I also find it a lttle ridiculous, but to say he was harshly treated??
How do we really know this, and perhaps Roy will get more from him???
I think he should ofbeen ahead of Silverse but basically AW didn't rate after Dogga took him to the cleaners in those three games.
All I hope for is that we sign at least two extremely good C/D before the start of the season. As I thought we were really damn lucky in this dept last season, how TV and Gallas hardly picked up a injury for most of it.
Happy W.C.

We'd better ditch all our centre backs then, cos he has done it the fucking lot of them not just senderos.bergkamp10 wrote:I find quiet amazing some of the qoutes on here. Big Phil was a good player, nothing more.

I think youve hit the nail on the head. Senderos was discarded after a few dodgy performances and obviously wasnt up to it for a club of Arsenal's stature but where you get it wrong is he was harshly treated when you compare this to Almunia, Flappianski, Silvestre, Denilson and Diaby who are equally as bad but seem to go un-noticed and continue to be picked. Senderos gave it his all but wasnt good enough can you say the same thing about Diaby?bergkamp10 wrote:I find quiet amazing some of the qoutes on here. Big Phil was a good player, nothing more.

I wish that was true but it took Swiss Phil to have his nightmare at Anfield for Wenger to finally see the light that Phil wasnt good enough.bergkamp10 wrote:

I just wish Wenger had done the same over the last couple of years to Average Al,Denilson and Diaby.Who are equally not good enough
