The New Kits of 2010/2011 Thread.

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I think this looks a lot better than the artistic impressions of it, shame its not got the cannon only but its not too bad...whether i will buy it or not is another story...want to see the home shirt first.

Interesting to see Cesc in it :? looks like the kits editted on cos of RVPs celebration pic so does not say too much.

I locked the other (later) kit thread so C&Ping my OP here;

That is fucking horrible. WHAT THE FUCK IS IT WITH THE FUCKING PINSTRIPES??!!

And Maroon?? Did Herbert Chapman once wear a maroon tie or some such bollocks? Is it really THAT difficult to just have a plain yellow jersey with blue shorts? I'd even accept blue sleeves on the yellow jersey.

Whichever gobshite at the club that selecte that from the Nike proposals should just go fuck themselves.

At least it is yellow... kind of... but that maroon is fucking horrible.

So basically I still fucking hate it. :evil:

I find it a small consolation that, in the club's online store, the picture of this shirt in long sleeves lookes slightly better - the maroon is less obvious. :oops:

Awful! Absolutely awful. :banghead: :banghead:

Are we having a 3rd kit this year?
Reason is won't this clash with teams in Red?

Yes. Our third kit is the blue one from last season, we'll need it for Wolves and Blackpool but i think we'll wear this at Old Trafford.

and West ham and Villa.
Thus again making the lack of blue a purely commercial idea.

If we played in simply yellow and blue there's not a prem team that we'd require a 3rd kit. I'd be happy with that but not the board or nike! :roll: :roll: :banghead:

I think I read somewhere that the pinstripe kits sell better because men can go from smart officewear to casual footie wear without having to bother changing. I blame you men. At least it is yellow and i like the collar and cuff detail but agree, claret?? :roll:

I know a lot of you hated it but I was a big fan of the white pinstripe one last year. Tbh I have no opinions on away kits, they're supposed to be shit arent they?
