The New Kits of 2010/2011 Thread.

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

those three are absolute beauties... :)

great times...
They will return! I have high hopes for 2012 :-P

Actually, thinking about it, I'd appreciate our kits being 'Tailored by Umbro', even for the one season at least. I'm sure a traditional kit that would make so many of us happy would be delivered by them.

Hugely impressed by Umbro recently! Thought the one they made for Rangers home shirt was class!

Agree entirely! I think every kit they have made recently has been great. Just simple and to the point. Has this been discussed on the forum already? :?

It just shows that the Rangers kit came out looking so good (I think) and that Celtic's Nike designed one cannot touch it in terms of class, which is a shame.

Rather telling though...

I picked up the bottom top (in really good condition) from a car boot for £1.00, it's for a 5-6 year old, but it's all ready for my boy to wear in a few years time.

A class top coupled with the classic badge.

You've obviously just picked up on the word BOTTOM.... probably, your favorite word

Anyway, for Mr Pedantic, I should have put:-

The shirt, at the bottom of the 3.

Is that better?? :?

That is fucking horrible. WHAT THE FUCK IS IT WITH THE FUCKING PINSTRIPES??!!

And Maroon?? Did Herbert Chapman once wear a maroon tie or some such bollocks? Is it really THAT difficult to just have a plain yellow jersey with blue shorts? I'd even accept blue sleeves on the yellow jersey.

Whichever gobshite at the club that selecte that from the Nike proposals should just go fuck themselves.

At least it is yellow... kind of... but that maroon is fucking horrible.

So basically I still fucking hate it.
exactly that. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
Lordy. What a dog's dinner they've made of that!

Watched the video - who cares if the shirt is dri-fit?

Or is that cockney rhyming slang.......... 8)

Also the heading in the daily mail (but not online) says "Gunners new kit is rubbish" as "the shirt is also made from recycled polyester, using up to eight plastic water bottles, as part of Nike’s ‘Considered Design’ programme."

Seeing as it's made from shitty second hand bottles, I hope they won't have the audacity to charge over £40 a top for it!
