Those who paid a minimum of £2500 just to trip down there and watch one game. It may not be morally good but they dint pay that much to watch a team with high hopes draw against Yanks and Algeria.

not true at all. steven gerrard, john terry and wayne rooney have all two things in common with ashley cole: they are cunts of the highest order and top class players, imho.

oh fuck off. Aye, no english players has worked great hasnt it, prick
Mackem fella, I don't know what it is you were trying to say but guess you are in a similar state to the rest of us so will excuse poor grammer.....

I don't think Wenger has anything against English players but I'm sure he feels that they are over priced, just because they are English. And on the strength of todays performance who can blame him.....

Once upon a time engerland played with real passion cos they knew that most of the time that passion could overcome teams that were better than them. Nowadays engerland think that they are good footballers and dont need to base their game on passion but the reality is that they are nowhere near as good as they think they are and technically they are still light years behind even much smaller nations

In defence of your players I think that the lack of technical abaility can also be blamed in part on the football fans......on this side of europe we (Ireland and the uk) place a load of emphasis on effort and commitment and technical ability comes a distance second. The negative comments on here re outstanding technical players like our own arshavin and riquelme does bear out what I say and it shows at every level of the game that commitment and passion are being coached into players more than the creative side of the game thus ensuring that the technical shortage in your national team will continue for years to come.

What do you even mean by that??

No wonder Wenger doesn't buy English??? - so what, England players are shit??? :? :?

Have you not seen how important Rooney is for ManUre?? have you not noticed how Gerrard has dragged Liverpool to success?? or maybe you've not noticed that Terry has been a fantastic player for Chelsea and that Lampard have been one of their best, and most prolific, players during their recent glory years.... or how about how important Cashley has been for Arsenal and Chelsea?? - or what an important role Rio Ferdinand has played for ManUre??

England lack certain key ingredients, but that doesn't make Terry, Gerrard, Lampard and Rooney shit!

Yeah but that's sport. You take the good and bad and get on with it. They can't claim to be the greatest fans in the world and then boo their own players. What right do they have to win every game? Did they not realise that at some stage Ingerland might not win a game? Don't go and watch football if you don't want to see your team draw nil-nil. I paid a load of money to go to South Africa on my honeymoon and on two days it was grey and it rained. I didn't boo, just accepted it.

come off it, theres playing ok and drawing with the USA and then there is failing to even score and being reduced to speculative long-shots against a team that i would fancy my local pub side to turn over.

Did you even bother to watch the game or did you just spend the time sitting on your high horse pondering how brilliant you are for being above the chavvy nonsense of supporting your national team?

Lets not forget how much these overpaid slags are being paid, compared to the average person in England who is paid under £25k? Save up and see that bollocks.

I personally think that fat shrek should pay the fans their money back.

Nah - their performance takes care of the shit part :-P

Actually Augie's right , I think a lot of the problem is everyone - including ther players - think England are much better than they actually are, based mainly on the suv=ccess of English Club Football sides. And let's face it a lot of that success was down to non-English players as much as English players during this period.

Its not that these players or England are that bad, but they aren't that good either and certainly not as good as anyone thought ahead of this tournament.

And before you start, the US are a long way from where the hype here places them as well, though maybe not as far as England this year.

the americans showed pride in coming back from 2-0 down. That the difference ,English players have fuck all pride unless they get win bonus's or appearence money of a bung for goals scored..In other words..You can have it written that Gerrard,Terry ,lampard and Rooney will come out the starting blocks like a greyhound for THEIR clubs next season.
*word censored*!!!

Another manager and the same style and stuttering results in a tournament.
The manager will still take the can for this and yes he has his part but the players must deliver their part. 75% of Brazils population expect them to win the WC, thats pressure. Overpaid and at international level underachievers.
If you were paid that much at work and produced so little would you not expect a backlash..
As for Rooney having a pop at the fans....
Remember where you came from or is that nike advert coming true!!!!
Your caravan awaits you pikey..
