As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

If he's in the bag , that's one piece of the defensive jig-saw needed

Apparently Clichy is about to be Drugged and press ganged off to the
Spanish Giants and Wenger is eyeing up Yanabev from Lokomotiv Moscow

Yeah he should then be good enough for a move to Barca in a few seasons time.
Barcelona eye Fernando Torres bargain as they ready £38m move for the Liverpool ace Barcelona are preparing a bid for Liverpool striker Fernando Torres but are determined not to pay over the odds.
Reports in Catalonia say the champions of Spain are not prepared to go above £38million for the 26-year-old, which is well short of Liverpool's valuation, but Barca are confident that Torres wants to join them.
What is it with these chancers. They think that just because all these players allegedly want to join them it means they don't have to pay.....

On a serious note , isnt it about time Uefa did something about them tapping up players

It is about time....but they won't. Barcelona, Real Madrid, Man Utd, Milan....are all too powerfull to risk upsetting them. Easy for the FA to pick out the like of Leeds and Luton for punishment over infringing some rules, but then ignore the big teams for infringing others....
Anyway, all of these comments seem to start with "we're delighted that the player wants to play for us...." so they can hide behind that - and ignore the fact that they or their agent was obviously tapped up in the first place !
He was at fault for Serbia's goal against Australia, but otherwise looked to have had a good game. I didn't watch the match so just what I've seen in highlights.
schwarzer has looked really poor since the game at our place, made a mistake then, and during this world cup hes made a few really basic errors. really not what we need
