I like to watch and know the stats of a player before I draw any conclusions. Jose would probably tell you the same![]()

Can't see it...i wouldn't mind giving Babel a go, but definitely not at the price quoted, he has spent most of the last three years on the bench and can't possibly be worth more than 8m..
I think he would be a far better player playing for us under Wenger than he has ever been at Liverpool and would be for me preferable to Theo. But if this deal were to have any truth in it it would mean there was no chance we were signing J.Cole and i prefer to believe we are..so i will put this one down to more agent bullshit or more of the press filling some space with any old shit they can dream up bollocks...

Fulham eye David James as Mark Schwarzer looks set to complete £3.5m deal to Arsenal
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/footba ... senal.htmlFulham will press ahead with the free transfer signing of England goalkeeper David James - their £3.5million sale of Mark Schwarzer to Arsenal should be completed next week.
Meanwhile Alan Curbishley has joined the list of candidates to replace Liverpool-bound Roy Hodgson at Fulham. Sven Goran Eriksson and Mark Hughes are others.

Arsenal are interested in Stuttgart midfielder Sami Khedira, who was drafted into Germany's World Cup squad after Michael Ballack and his replacement Christian Trasch pulled out through injury. The 23-year-old would cost the Gunners in the region of £13m.
I've posted it for completeness only as the article just says "Wenger is thought to be a big fan of....". Hardly an inside tip then!!

Wenger had a good hard look at Babel when he was still at Ajax and whilst i agree Rafa played him like a headless chicken and we might get something more out of him i really don't think he can make a huge difference to what we've got . Three years in the premiership and he's still only a fringe player , don't see him kicking it with the bigger boy's now .
Like the look of Khedira though , add him to the ever expanding list

Only if some rosetinter or ladyboybrazgoon becomes the new Liverpool manager.
