Official World Cup Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Another on the Plane of Shame home . Pretty average , so and so World Cup but there's certainly been a few surprises to date , more on average than recent previous tournaments . I suppose South Koreas run in the last one is the one that stands out . Not sure are we gonna see any more Big 'un's falling though . Japan to shock the Dutch maybe ?

Rather than digging up the BBC/ITV World Cup coverage thread I said I'd post this here. I didn't watch the match live on Wednesday so I can't say for sure if this is accurate but I believe it is having watched both the BBC and RTE before.

[quote]Well, Gary Lineker had good news for the English nation yesterday, telling them the BBC’s sources had reliably informed him Stevie would be playing through the middle against Slovenia, “at the head of the diamondâ€
