Official World Cup Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I despise this England team & the ball over the line incident did make me laugh but FIFA, Blatter, Platini etc are beyond a joke with their stance on video tech...

That was why there should be goal line technology, if for nothing else other than decisions like that.

No matter who falls victim to that decision its one helluva terrible call....its really not a good day for the competition when a decision like that could end the progress of a nation wanting to win the big prize.

Mind you England were so poor i think the argument is simple, they should have been 4-1 down at that stage....

true, but if this ends 2-1 the goal will be all we ever here. the media will miss the point: the reason we've conceded two is because we are total dogshit

Perhaps bringing up the war or putting Rooney in a tin hat will turn it around for Ingerland.
