THE PROJOE TOTALLY POINTLESS TRANSFER RUMOUR THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

You're right RaM, he is at CSKA .. Would rather take is blonde(r) Club compatriot in Krasic to The Grove if you asked me :barscarf:

...Saying that, they'll probably ask for a good £25m

I doubt if the story is true about Madrid offering 35m for Rvp...firstly i'd be surprised if mourinho wanted him and i'd be shocked if they offered any where near that amount for him..especially considering they sold Robben last season for a lot less than 35m and he is a muchbetter and more consistently dangerous player than Rvp...

Also even if it was true.. he is one of our best players and regardless of how much is offered for any of our best it's never going to be good business for us to sell them because the money is never going to be re-invested as it should..

Pep Guardiola....a little bit about Cesc...

http://msnsport.skysports.com/story/0,1 ... 31,00.html

Watch the video...should dispel any myths or quotes attributed to him suggesting he is tapping up or talking about where he is going to play players that he doesn't own... they don't come much more respectful than him...

To be fair and without wishing to judge Guardiola, if every other *word censored* and his brother is going on about it he probably doesn't feel the need to.

Eduardo, the impressive Portugal goalkeeper who only conceded one goal in this years world cup, has a release clause of just 4 million euros... apparently.

I am at the stage now where I dont just want transfer windows abolished but I want transfers totally done away with - something has to be done by fifa to allow small tight arsed clubs like ourselves to compete with the genuine big clubs  :banghead:

Damn! I was hoping that we'd get him on a free.... Maybe if we waited until the end of his contract?
