Gallas definitely gone?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Gallas definitely gone?

Post by LyusN1 »

Just received this fold-out poster advert thing from the club which is a detailed brochure of their new kits and prices with a poster in the centre.
It has the 'official squad list 2010/11' with the squad numbers of all the players. Senderos is obviously no longer there so the number 6 is unassigned but the number 10 is a glaring omission.

I suppose we were all expecting him to leave but this must be confirmation.
Another slow news day...

than the anelka affair s far worst than previously thought..

the insults were racials, the black players forced domenech to not select any arabic players, than they forced the non muslims players out of the dressing room to pray, evra got his lawyer to prepare their communicate and force the coach to read it or the team would forfeit their game...
they physically intiminated the others who didnt agree.
that s why there s all that political involvement right now..
it was truely worse than previously thought.

When you go into the shopping page online and view the new shirt, the pull down menu with the names is missing Silvestre, Gallas and Campbell, i suppose they're technically out of contract so shouldnt appear but hope Gallas and Campbell resign

ANd Thierry Henry just let this happen? I mean like he would be a respected member of the squad....why would he allow this to happen?

that s why he called sarkozy from south africa to organize a meeting...
he said he was powerless because a lot of players lost respect when he lost the captaincy...

thuram yesterday and lizarazu in l equipe today call for some tough sanctions...

Yes, Henry said in interview that when he was younger he was more respectful of the older players. And he felt isolated since he wasn't the captain. Nobody knows what he talked with Sarkozy.

Yes, Thuram and Lizarazu are quite harsh.

But you talked about racial problem, black against muslims, which is total bullshit. I never heard about that in France (except from far-right party).

I don't care about your life, I'm just talking about what you said.
And I'm sorry but I know more than you do about what happened in France, so stop bullshitting. You're not saying the truth, you just want to rewrite a story you don't even know.

gallas, campbell and silvestre are all not on the list, suggesting that they have been released. i'm confused as to why the club hasn't confirmed it on the offical site yet though.

with campbell, maybe he's been released for now but there's the possibility we could 're-sign' him later in the window.
