As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Chamakh i reckon will shine, but i am REALLY worried about kos. The premier league is known to have a dodgy defence, but will kos be able to handle the striking force of the epl? After only one season of professional league 1 french football?

I have no idea why I listen to talkshite in the car, I must like the stress levels. Adrian Dunceiam said our new signing was the reason the English national side was woeful. Although we can write a dossier about more valid reasons for the average Capello team; his main argument was 8.5million for a foreigner with limited experience was costing the development of an english player.
I'm not too sure of his comments when manure spent a massive 12million on Smalling who had much less game time. If money/experience ratio is a big concern for him then this transfer seems a more reasonable target. If the passport makes Smalling to Utd acceptable then how does talkshite reconcile the fact that AW tried to get him from Fulham? Wenger will buy English if he thinks it represents value for money against talent/potential.
I don't think there is much alternative English talent at centre half which AW could have pursued. This negates Durhams' argument. Lescott shows what an average young English centre half goes for and what limited performances he will repay that investment with.
For some reason (and I know this is off topic) they went on about Wilshere needing to go to stop AW ruining his devlopment like he did Theo. He seems to have forgotten that Pearce and Capello over-used Walcott last summer against AW wishes. This effectively put him out last season and stopped him joining the over-hyped prima donnas who went to Africa. Wenger has put a lot of faith into Theo who needs to begin payback. Wilshere is in the best hands for his development.
Getting back on topic, I hope our new French/Polish lad takes to the EPL as quickly as TV.
