Man of the match for me, was superb today, going forward and in defence. Hope there is more to come.

Well fuck me sideways!

Alex Song I take it all back! That was some performance I tell you!

I won't get carried away as Aliadiere had a similar game last year at Anfield but if Song can keep up the improvement then who knows!

He aint ever going to be a top class midielder (despite I thought a decent showing against Steau last week and watching him dominate Charlton's midfiled twice last season) but maybe, just maybe he has enough in there to be a centre back!

Eduardo, I have knocked you but if you can show those kind of runs with that kind of finishing in The Prem then you can also be my friend!

Song and Eduardo.......the new Adams and Wright!

I think I would rather see us play Song as centre back rather than Senderos, who again looked fucking shakey last night

Made some errors and allowed Santa to score twice, never looked comfortable in the air but he did have a very good performance, great saving tackle and some really good defending, was also pleased to see him get forward and use the ball well.

in reality the defence did there job for the first goal - clearly offside. for the second it would be difficult to say which of song and big phil should be picking up santa and which derbyshire but would be tough to definitely say it was his fault?

p.s. I do not intend to get in a debate about who should have been picking up who!

Song will always have people who doubt him as a player, as Matty Flamini still has he's!

I can honestly say I have only seen Song play 1 really bad game against Fulham and the whole team that night didnt perform and he was used as the scapegoat for this bad performance
