THE PROJOE TOTALLY POINTLESS TRANSFER RUMOUR THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Arsenal Football Club would like to clarify that quotes attributed to Arsène Wenger today in a Kenyan newspaper are not correct. Arsène Wenger did not grant a one-on-one interview to the newspaper and have kindly asked all media not to attribute any quotes from this source to him.

Sky also reporting that forlan open to the idea of returning to premier league...have to say that I think he would be a quality signing and would bring real pace to our forward line 8) :barscarf:

We are more likely to go for his less-famous brother Jasmin Handanovic. A 32-year-old journeyman

Sounds like the new Almunia

I see arsene has ruled out a move for gourcuff

http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528, ... 79,00.html

Of course what that means is that we will wait to sell cesc and then by the time we sell him there will be no quality players left to replace him   :banghead:

Just found out this:

Portugal goalkeeper Eduardo snubs Arsenal after contract negotiations stall

Portugal goalkeeper Eduardo has revealed he turned down the chance to join Arsenal after the north London club took too long to make a move.

The player's agent Joe Donkor confirmed: "It is flattering to know of Arsenal's interest, but Genoa made it plain they really, really wanted Eduardo and he is delighted to have signed for them."

If this is true, it shows that our professionalism was not there :?

Alternatively, we keep Cesc thus negating the need for an inferior player like Gourcuff. 8)
