Cesc in Barca shirt!

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I think all clubs bully smaller clubs into giving them the players they want. Jesus, even kids sunday football teams tap up the better players so hardly surprising that it happens in professional football. I would guess that by far the majority of transfers are of players who the club never put on the market.....

But Barca are different..... This CONSTANT mentioning of players names by the President, then their players casually mentioning to the press "oh wouldn't it be good if Cesc came home....". It is really orchestrated in a way that I don't think any other club (saving maybe Real Madrid) do. We don't do that and never have done!
This is what I was trying to explain the difference between the Chamack tranfer and this Cesc one.

"and" I'm okay with. It's only 3 letters. 8)

In fairness to Cesc I'd seen the picture of him wearing the Barca shirt but having just seen the video it does put a different spin on it..... Is he a willing participant in all this...? Er, no! He didn't exactly put his arms in the sleeves..... Does he look embarassed....? Yes!

I was just about to say the same thing! It is very easy to misinterpret things from looking at a still picture (didn't we do the same thing a couple of days back with two innocent footballers standing by a car  ?) but I honestly think the video is very different. He was hardly going to deck Reina, but he definitely didn't want that shirt on......

why do players do this to fans.... i mean for fuc& sake... u would have known end of may if your going to be an arsenal player again cesc.... if you are come out and say your not leaving, if your not say so.... don't drag all of us through all this promotional and propaganda sh&t... my heart can't take it anymore at my ripe old age of 26.... you care for us that much??? well if you fu*k off now we are probably to late for a replacement so you would have fucked our season up good and proper... thanks v much

Well he smiles firstly because he's not sure what they're putting on him, in the video you clearly see his face look down and do a 'oh shit' kind of thing. He's laughing mainly because Kojak is drunk and stopping him from taking it off. He whips it off pretty lively (not shown by most places)

I've finally managed to view the video of the Sun's website.

MK's right the picture tells a different story to the video.

Look a the fist photo that Red Gunner post.
Pique is holding down Cescs arms by his sides so that Puyol can put the shirt over Cescs head.
Cesc is trying to escape.

Once half on Reina puts a tight arm around Cesc.
2nd pic.
So much that Reine is holding Cescs arm/hand which is trying to lift the shirt off.

He's having to laugh as to not want to be a spoil sport.
